In the summer of 2023, I made it a point of exploring other art influences. I went and worked with Keith Garubba a paper marbling artist in Bethlehem and learned different Paper Marbling techniques with him. I photographed the process the way I would document all my experiences. Then I began weaving the processes and these images are the results of seeing color in different ways for me. Most of the images are printed on photographic papers and the marbled weavings are on a specialty Hahnemühle fine art paper for marblers. I also worked with Susan Stover at R+F Paints in Kingston, New York and created encaustic pieces of my already woven photographs. That was a very intense experience that I truly look forward to learning more techniques in the future.
